When people tell stories, individuals are not the only characters. The landscape itself can be a character. It has the capacity to shape our way of thinking and dictate our mood. For many, it inspires a nostalgic view of their own personal associations with a place or time. The artist attempts to offer a view into a scene that is not our own and is particularly interested in how the story plays out differently within the scene for each viewer.
