Working from my peaceful studio at the bottom of our garden I transform my messy sketch book doodles into gentle acrylic paintings. Inspired by life’s simple pleasures I try to capture the beauty that I see in the world.

Even though I use acrylic paint, my paintings are subdued in colour and appear soft, which complements the subjects that I enjoy painting. Quaint buildings, quirky characters, nature, and dogs are all the things that I’m inspired by. My wish is to capture a quiet moment that makes people smile.
