Based in County Durham, Lisa has always had a fond connection with Yorkshire since completing her Fine Art & Experimental Textiles degree in Bradford in the mid-90s. Weaving in the old Yorkshire textile mills inspired her creativity, imagination and lifelong fascination with colour, texture and pattern. This combined with her love of painting became the foundation of her art practice.
Painting with a mixture of instinct, emotion and skill, she has a subtle understanding of colour and its deep impact on the viewers conscious and subconscious.

Her work takes on many forms from atmospheric textured landscape paintings to still art exploring inanimate objects with birds and animals. Creating collections filled with character and charm, her mixed media technique has become a recognisable quality to art collectors worldwide.
