b 1978. Painter based in Thornton, Bradford. Studied art at Bradford College and Fine Art Degree from Huddersfield University.

I’ve always had an affinity for landscape but not always strictly in the classical sense of the word. I am often drawn to the less obvious scenery that surrounds us. I don’t really have a f mixed style of painting either, which I find helps the work navigates its own path. Keeping the initial freedom allows me to push the work towards abstraction if I choose without losing sight of the natural forms that inspired the painting. I have exhibited paintings throughout the north of England and have shown work at the Royal Society of British Artists in London.
