Caroline Reed

West Yorkshire artist Caroline works in mixed media collage, ink and paint on a small scale. She then enlarges the work printing on 300 gsm acid free fine art paper. Each piece is a unique monotype work. Hope Gallery has a collection of framed and acrylic originals arriving in the New Year.

‘My assemblages have a touch of nostalgia and a fragility to them. I tend to make work that reflects the passing of time, with my paintings I try to create a visual language out of my past, I am telling a story that suggests a narrative using metaphors and images offering the viewer their own interpretation and internal dialogue.’
