Originally a water colourist, Mark’s most recent discovery of oil now provides the perfect medium to capture everyday life in a city, from the rain to the sun lit days, or the hustle and bustle to the last of the shoppers.
Living on the outskirts of Sheffield Mark gains inspiration from the rugged landscape and changing skies of the Peak District. In contrast his love for the Isles of Scilly, again often depicted in paint, reflects the white sands, blue seas and the sheer tranquillity of the beautiful Isles.
