Jane is a ceramicist living and working in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Originally trained as a graphic designer, she changed careers taking on MA in Ceramics (UCA Farnham) in 2011.
Her current range of work centres on the theme of Renewal and how our environment (both built and natural) changes with the passage of time; also, how ‘new’ contrasts with ‘old’ – for example, smooth, white surfaces against dirty, rough textures – and enhances both. They are made from porcelain with copper, cobalt, iron and manganese oxides.
